Tom Selleck-2American actor Thomas William Selleck. His most memorable role was Thomas Magnum (private investigator) in the television series Magnum. (1980-1988), for which he was awarded five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in the Drama Series with the winner being announced in 1985. From 2010 until 2010 Selleck has played New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. Since 2005, he's played the role of Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief from a small town in New York City. The actor has also appeared in nine television shows based on Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also played the part as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect, in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and a Little Lady (90). He has also been seen in over 50 other TV and film roles since Magnum, P.I., including the films Quigley Down Under, Mr. Baseball and Lassiter. He was a regular on television in roles as Monica Geller's love-interest Dr. Richard Burke on Friends and as Lance White, the likeable and charming co-star in The Rockford Files, and as the casino's owner A.J.
