Kari Samantha (born on April 28 on 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer began her acting career in her teens. Her best-known character was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three brothers and sisters. She began singing in nightclubs as a teenager and would sneak out of her home to perform. She studied acting from when she was 13 years old at Wooster School. Later, she studied drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts along with renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American actor, model and singer.
