Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's greatest athletes. Biles was the first female gymnast from America in history to have won four gold medals at one Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles was raised within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone's love for gymnastics first began at age six, during a trip with her day-care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained with Aimee Borman as coach until the year 2011. Biles took home a gold medal for the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the top level of gymnastics in the year the year 2011. Within two years she had dominated this discipline. Biles stood out for her constant performance her exuberant attitude and the level of difficulty that she included every event - vault bars that were uneven as well as balance beams and ground work.
